Friday, April 16th - Belly Dance Studio Party/Social at Jorday Dance Studio from 9 p.m. to midnight. There will be professional dancers, student presentations, troupe performances, guest artists...plus YOU working your moves! Light snacks and drinks, too! Let's bring Spring in with a shimmy. Sunday, April 25th - Join Layla & Veiled Visions Dance Ensemble at Grisly Pear, 107 MacDougal Street, NYC, in the Village! Live music at 8 p.m. with Scott Wilson & Efendi...first dancer at 8:30 p.m. Seating is limited so come early!

Saturday, May 15th - Layla will be teaching a finger cymbal workshop at Creative Vibrations Yoga Studio in Astoria, Queens from 5-7 p.m. $45 in advance/$50.00 at door. Sunday, May 23rd - Join Layla for her Spring Fling entitled, "Motown/R&B Meets Middle Eastern Dance" at the Lafayette Grill in Tribeca (NYC) located at 54 Franklin Street. Show time 2-5 p.m. Please call 212-732-5600 or 212-732-4999 for reservations. $10 at door/$15 at table (excludes tax and tip). There will be many different dancers/troupes from around the NYC area. We have QUITE an array of dance pieces that day! Come groove "Motown style" with us!

Sunday, June 13th - Jorday Dance Studio's annual year-end gala recital being held at Frank Sinatra High School for the Performing Arts.
